Thunderbirds Pow Wow Spring Equinox

*Program of Riverside’s Theatre of the Oppressed Uptown Ministry*

The Spring Pow-Wow is a traditional celebration held by many Indigenous communities to mark the end of winter and the beginning of spring. It is a time to gather in community — to dance, sing, feast, and reconnect with both old and new friends.

The gathering at The Riverside Church is open to all and will feature performances by members of the Thunderbirds, along with dances that everyone is welcome to join. There will also be craft displays and items available for purchase. We look forward to creating a joyful, welcoming experience as we come together to celebrate the new season.
