Birthday Clubs

Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote and help shape this new community initiative at The Riverside Church. We are grateful for your engagement and excitement as we continue building meaningful connections across our congregation.

We are delighted to share the official names of our four Birthday Clubs:

Peace – January through March
Justice – April through June
Love – July through September
Joy – October through DecemberInspired by the community-building practices of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Birthday Clubs are designed to foster intentional connection, discipleship, and shared purpose. By grouping members by birth quarter, we hope to create spaces for fellowship, service, celebration, and faith growth throughout the year.

Each Birthday Club will have opportunities to gather, serve together, and build relationships that strengthen our wider church community. Whether through service projects, social gatherings, or shared moments of reflection, these clubs are a way for us to deepen our sense of belonging at Riverside.
