The Legacy Society

What is Your Legacy?

For over 90 years, the Riverside Church has been a beacon and a bastion for beautiful worship services and thoughtful social justice programming as well as community services. Many who came before us thanked the church with a bequest included in their estate plans or retirement plans. This congregation cares deeply about this church and the many benefits it offers. Won’t you consider paying forward your gratitude with a thoughtful inclusion for Riverside?

Members of The Legacy Society will be recognized at an annual event to be held on or around All Saints Day. However, your legacy can also be anonymous and your name never be published. Gifts from estates, qualified retirement plans, gifts of life insurance, and other financial assets can be considered as a legacy gift. Please consult your tax advisor or financial planner for how best to fulfill your wishes.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Your gifts to The Legacy Society will ensure the good work of The Riverside Church goes on. Let us all pass forward our gifts as best we can.

Please email Natalie Graves Tucker, Director of Communications and Development, to discuss your plans, or give her a call at 212.870.6765.
