Almighty and Eternal God…

Almighty and eternal God,

May our love abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight so that we may be able to discern what is best, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through your Spirit. Nourish us with hope in difficult times. Grant us strength, love, and joy as we follow where you lead.

Do not withhold your mercy from us; let your steadfast love and your faithfulness keep us safe forever. (Psalm 40:11)
