Introductions, Mission & History: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM

Sunday, October 11:
Thorne and Tour: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM

Sunday, October 18:
Church NOW – Communications, Stewardship & Ministries: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM

Sunday, October 24:
New Member Breakfast, Joining Sunday Worship & Red Carpet Reception: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

HOW Do I Become a Member?

The Riverside Church offers Membership Classes throughout the year, facilitated by the Office of Membership, Care & Parish Life. These engaging sessions are designed to help prospective members:

• Explore Riverside’s mission and values
• Learn about our rich history and prophetic witness
• Discover ministries, programs, and ways to get involved
• Understand what it means to be part of a congregation-led church
• Discern whether God is calling you to make Riverside your spiritual home

Classes are offered both in-person and virtually, making membership accessible whether you live in New York City or anywhere in the world.

Following the class experience, participants are invited to join the church on Joining Sunday, where you publicly profess your faith in Jesus Christ and are warmly welcomed into the Riverside family.

Every new member brings unique gifts, perspectives, and purpose. We would be honored to walk alongside you in faith and welcome you into this community.
