Palestine Circle

The Palestine Circle is a fellowship of Riverside congregants and allies focused on bearing a moral and spiritual witness to the urgent call for Palestinian liberation and a lasting peace in the state of Israel in Palestine – a witness that is informed by historical clarity and one that holds all the people of the region in equal regard for their dignity, value, and right to self-determination.

As Part of the Riverside Church’s broader mission, the Circle nurtures faithful resistance, collective education, and public advocacy, believing that no one is free until all are free.

Monthly Gatherings: 2nd Saturdays, 1:00–3:00 EST (unless otherwise noted)

SAVE THE DATE: The Palestine Circle invites you to our last event of the program year on Saturday, June 13th for an afternoon of celebration and reflection on the work we’ve done together as well as looking ahead with intention to the program year to come.

Formed less than a year ago, the Palestine Circle is a fellowship of Riverside congregants and allies called to bear a moral and spiritual witness to the urgent need for Palestinian liberation and a lasting peace in West Asia — one informed by historical clarity and holding all people of the region in equal regard for their dignity, value, and right to self-determination. We partner with student organizations and allies, affirm the right of all Americans to freely discuss in universities and beyond what our ethical responsibilities are as people of faith and citizens, and collaborate with our partners to take meaningful action towards Palestinian liberation.
