Join us for an inspiring afternoon of music as the B’s and P’s present a special concert in celebration of Women’s Day. “Celebrating Art Songs and Jazz by African American Women Composers” highlights the important contributions of African American women to both classical art song and jazz traditions. Featuring soprano Cathy C. Smith and pianist Angela L. Manso, this program honors composers whose voices have shaped, and continue to shape, American music.
