Join the “No Kings” Interfaith Vigil and March

As movements for liberation rise across this land, the No Kings March calls us to reject every form of domination—colonial, racial, economic, and spiritual—and to walk together toward a future of justice, care, and freedom for all.

The Riverside Church will join New York–based faith leaders for an interfaith prayer gathering on Saturday, October 18 at 9:30 a.m. in Columbus Circle, before marching together in the “No Kings” peaceful protest for democracy and against authoritarianism.

Faith leaders will offer prayers and reflections on the vital role of spiritual communities in standing for justice and collective liberation. The procession will move from Columbus Circle to 47th St. and Broadway for the main protest beginning at 11:00 a.m.

🧭 Safety First:

Join Us for Monday’s Vigil at Columbus Circle

Monday | 5:30–6:00 PM
(Gather at the USS Maine Statue, SW corner of Central Park)

In a time of deep division, we gather to lament, resist, and reclaim moral clarity. As Masha Gessen reminds us, “Autocratic power requires the degradation of moral authority.” By standing together, we strengthen it. All are welcome.

Saturday, October 25 – The People’s Agenda: Puts PEOPLE Over PROFIT!

Now more than ever, as systems of oppression seek to divide and dehumanize, people of faith and conscience are called to stand together. Racism, war, economic inequality, and the climate crisis threaten the sacred web of life itself.

The People’s Agenda Summit: People Over Profit will bring together faith leaders, immigrant organizers, and labor activists—alongside community and movement builders—for a day of panels, workshops, and strategy sessions rooted in one shared conviction: people are more valuable than profit.

Together, we will renew our moral imagination, strengthen our solidarity, and lift up a vision of a world where justice, care, and freedom prevail over greed and domination. We gather on this land with reverence, honoring the First Peoples who have long led the struggle for life, land, and liberation.
