Pride Month

Kick off PRIDE EVE at The Riverside Church – Sunday, May 31, 2026

11:00 AM: Join us in the Nave this Pride Eve Worship Service for a worship service rooted in radical love, belonging, and the sacred truth that every person is created in the image of God. We welcome guest preacher Rev. Brandan Robertson as we gather in joy and solidarity to affirm that queer identities are not outside the bounds of faith, but beautifully woven into the story of God’s love.

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
Grounded in the promise of Isaiah that all are given “an everlasting name,” we will celebrate the courage, resilience, and holy beauty of LGBTQ+ lives and communities. 1:30 PM: Join us in South Hall for Queer & Christian: Pride Eve Book Talk, an afternoon of joy, liberation, and holy celebration with Rev. Brandan Robertson as we explore his book Queer & Christian. Together, we will celebrate the beauty, resilience, and sacred worth of Queer identities within Christianity, reclaiming the truth that Queerness is not something to apologize for, hide, or overcome, but something to honor openly and unapologetically.

Pride Month Clothing Drive – Sunday, June 14, 2026

1:30 PM: Let’s gather at the Maranatha Meeting in the Multipurpose Room in fellowship as we participate in our Clothing Drive for the LGBTQ Streetwork Project for Homeless Youth by Safe Horizon. This is a great time to come together as we collect clothing donations. Please bring clean, wearable men’s clothes to the meeting. Arrangements have been made to deliver all donations to the center on your behalf.

8:00 AM: Start your day with the Maranatha Annual Pride Breakfast in Room 9T. Enjoy
delicious food, lively music, and meaningful connection as we honor the recipients of this year’s
Maranatha Scholarship Awards.

Maranatha Pride t-shirts are available for purchase at maranathapride.printful.me. T-shirts come in either white or black. Prices range from $17 to $21, depending on your size, plus shipping and tax.
