Sunday Morning Worship
Eighteenth Sunday After Pentecost

Preacher: Rev. Adriene Thorne
The Riverside Church is honored to co-sponsor “Testimonies from Gaza’s Families,” an important event presented in partnership with the Arab American Institute (AAI) and Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP).
We invite you—and members of The Riverside Church community in the Washington, DC area—to join a series of gatherings on October 14–15 that center the voices of U.S.-based Palestinians with family in Gaza.
These powerful testimonies will lift up the lived experiences of those directly affected by Israel’s ongoing military assault and amplify urgent calls for justice, peace, and humanitarian access. Together, we come to bear witness, stand in solidarity, and urge our nation’s leaders to end the cycle of violence and the flow of weapons fueling it.
Transportation will not be provided by The Riverside Church; attendance is encouraged for those able to travel independently.
