It Is Finished, And…
“God is here in the endings. God is here in the liminal spaces. And God is here waiting for us in the beginnings that we cannot even imagine yet. It is finished and it isn’t over.”
How can this Holy Week, with its endings and its beginnings and its in between, transform us? Can we recognize all of these as holy in our own lives, even when we don’t know what comes next?
When Jesus had received the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
