Mar 11: The Riverside Inspirational Choir Concert

The Inspirational Choir celebrates the voices of women as agents of change in the emancipation of self-affirmation of our nation throughout history. This concert honors five sheroes: Harriet Tubman and Sojourner Truth, two women who changed their names and helped to change our destiny; and Mary Lou Williams, Hazel Scott, and Carline Ray, three women who, with their distinctive music, helped inspire us to stand up and say “My Name Is….” Don’t miss this joyful and inspiring celebration!
