The Riverside Church and New Amsterdam Opera are proud to present the good tidings of Handel’s Messiah in the traditional Advent/Christmas format.

Come join us during this season of giving. Come together and raise your voices in song during the Hallelujah chorus, one of our most famous musical celebrations of love and gratitude.

See Handel’s Messiah performed as it was meant to be – in its traditional format as Handel wrote it – in the beautiful Nave at The Riverside Church. We hope to see you for this, the first Messiah of the holiday season!

Since its premiere in Dublin in 1742, Messiah has become the best known and most performed of all of Handel’s works, as well as the most performed choral work, throughout the world. This beloved masterpiece has become a holiday tradition and we invite you to come and share it with us!
