A Grateful Weekend:
Day of Service on July 29
Grateful Gathering on July 30

Saturday, July 29 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The Riverside Church is partnering with the Riverside Park Conservancy to create a day of community service at Grant’s Tomb. Join us for a fun morning of painting, weeding, and mulching at Grant’s Tomb as a way of giving and serving while building community with one another and learning more about the history of our very own neighborhood.

This opportunity is family friendly, and all supplies will be provided.

When to meet? Meet at Grant’s Tomb by 9:45 a.m.

What to wear? Please wear clothes that can get and stay dirty (the paint is oil-based and will not wash out of clothing), sneakers.

What to bring? Bring a reusable water bottle – water will be provided. You may also bring a bag lunch or a lunch to share for our fellowship time following the service project.

What’s the cost? $7 per person, which helps to offset the service project registration costs (scholarships available*).

*For scholarship information email Stewardship or call 212-870-6856.

Following our time at Grant’s Tomb, we will open South Hall for lunch and fellowship. Please bring your lunch and a laugh as we recap our time together.

Grateful Gathering after Worship: Sunday, July 30:

Join us after worship for our third Grateful Gathering as we showcase the impact of your giving and serving at The Riverside Church. Come enjoy music, food, and games for the entire family
and see for yourself what gratitude-infused giving and serving can do!
