INTERESTED IN JOINING A CHOIR?
The Riverside Choir: sings every Sunday morning September –June, and at other special services through the year such as extra services during the Christmas and Easter seasons. It rehearses on Sunday mornings before the service and once a month on a Thursday night. The choir sings the full range of choral repertoire from classical composers such as Mendelssohn, Handel, and Howells, to American composers and spirituals. Varying levels of experience are accepted. Previous music training and ability to read music expected. This is an auditioned choir for all spots volunteer and paid, in the fall only.
The Inspirational Choir: The choir sings Gospel and contemporary Christian music, often accompanied with piano, bass guitar and percussion. There is an informal audition for voice placement, available to join all season.
The Riverside Ringers: This is a handbell choir which plays a wide range of sacred repertoire, including arrangements of familiar works and hymn tune settings. No audition, some music and rhythm reading required. Available to join all season. Click here to view a video of the handbell choir.
The Riverside Rising Voices is open to all youth in grades 3-12 who love to sing. No previous singing experience is required. The Riverside Rising Voices is a safe and nurturing environment where all young people can connect and contribute to their church community while growing as choral musicians. The Riverside Rising Voices perform a wide variety of music that represents many cultures and musical styles. In addition to regularly performing in the worship service, we also present a Christmas pageant and a spring concert each year. Join us anytime and experience for yourself the joy of singing with The Riverside Rising Voices!

The Laura Spelman Rockefeller Memorial Carillon
The Carillon was a gift to the Riverside Church by the late John D. Rockefeller, Jr., in memory of his mother. Recitals are normally played on Sundays at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. (occasionally at 2:30 p.m.), and on special occasions such as Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.
