Sunday Morning Worship
Third Sunday of Easter
April 19, 2026
11:00 AM
Preacher: Rev. Derrick Weston

Join Action Corps for an advocacy training for Riversiders on how to get your elected officials to act on the issues you care about. Learn from 20+ years of Action Corps’ experience in moving the U.S. Congress to act for peace, diplomacy, and global justice.
Everyone can advocate—even 5 minutes a day makes an impact. The training will walk you through:
• Simple but powerful messaging
• Channels of communication
• Tracking legislation
• Ways to stay involved
It will include live practice of taking an action, so we make an impact in real time! This session will focus on legislative efforts to stop U.S. aggression overseas, but the skills and relationships built can be used beyond this issue.
This is our year to create a more peaceful future!
