Looking for ways to volunteer and serve at Riverside?

In August, we will host a series of training events on Wednesday evenings from 7pm – 8pm ET.  Rev. Adriene and Lay Leaders will host these fun moments to socialize and learn how to serve in various ministries. Light non-alcoholic refreshments themed to each ministry will be served. Here are the three in-person training opportunities below. You can pick one or join all three! Click to register.

• PREP AND SERVE COMMUNION – Wednesday, August 16; 7pm – 8pm
  • Learn how to properly prepare the communion elements (bread, drink, baskets, etc.), timing, and cleanup.

• USHERS – Wednesday, August 23; 7pm – 8pm
  • Learn the responsibilities of an usher through role play including but not limited to helping people to their seats, answering questions, distributing bulletins, timing, etc.

• LEADING IN WORSHIP – Wednesday, August 30; 7pm – 8pm
  • Learn how to participate in various opportunities in the worship service including but not limited to reading the scripture, how to tell a story dramatically, practicing on the microphone, etc.
