We are joined by Prof Marandiuc from SMU for A Loving Church: Justice and Restorations is a three-week series that explores how the church can be a transforming site of loving action and experiences, contributing to increased justice in the contexts of human migration, homelessness, and trauma, as each of these predicaments occurs within systems of racial, gender and other forms of oppression. This three-week series explores how the church can be a generative site of loving action and experiences, thus contributing to increased justice in multiple contexts. The class is in sync with the heart of The Riverside Church’s mission, as it discusses ways in which justice can be made effective through love in the complex predicaments of migration, homelessness, and trauma.
