Healthy Masculinity in the Age of Me Too

October 10 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

10T

Join us on Thursday, October 10th as we explore serious questions in the context of a public conversation about “healthy masculinity in the age of me too.”

We’ll begin with a promotional screening of The Work, the acclaimed documentary detailing a four-day intensive group process in Folsom County Prison. Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the South by Southwest film festival, The Work takes a gut-wrenching look at lives all too often written off as lost causes, persuasively arguing that growth and change can be waiting where we least expect it.

The screening will be followed by a conversation with film’s director, Gethin Aldous, and representatives from All Kings, an organization inspired by the work in Folsom prison that helps young men recently released from incarceration.
