Discovering The Bible: The Old Testament Small Group Class

Join us for Discovering the Bible! For 15 weeks this fall semester, we’ll look at the Old Testament. (The New Testament will be offered in the Spring.) Discovering the Bible is a basic comprehensive introduction to the Bible as a whole. This class seeks to underscore an interest in seeing the inter-connections among many parts of the entire Bible as it speaks to us of God and faith and people. Through a process of reading, reflection, discussion, and creative expression you will discover people, events, and places and encounter a variety of Biblical ideas. While the focus of the course is to provide an introduction to the Bible as a whole, our hope and expectation are that you will move beyond learning about details and people, events, and places to new understandings and experiences of faith and life.
