Discovering The Bible-The New Testament

Join us for Discovering the Bible! For 15 weeks this winter/spring semester, we’ll look at the New Testament. Discovering the Bible is a basic comprehensive introduction to the Bible as a whole. This class seeks to underscore an interest in seeing the inter-connections among many parts of the entire Bible as it speaks to us of God and faith and people. Through a process of reading, reflection, discussion, and creative expression you will discover people, events, and places and encounter a variety of Biblical ideas. While the focus of the course is to provide an introduction to the Bible as a whole, our hope and expectation are that you will move beyond learning about details and people, events, and places to new understandings and experiences of faith and life. A class book will be provided for the class.
