The New Testament is filled with stories of Jesus healing bodies, casting out demons, and disrupting systems of power.
Are these mighty, liberating works still happening today?
On this retreat, we’ll gather to wrestle with big questions through embodied faith, shared community, and spiritual practice. Together, we will:
• Explore stories of Jesus’s healing work and how it overturned the tables of the mighty and unsettled the powerful
• Engage voices from Black liberation theology, queer theology, and disability studies
• Spend intentional time in nature and community
• Practice creativity, embodied reflection, prayer, and spiritual grounding
Our goal is to open our hearts and minds to the ongoing, liberating work of Jesus and the Holy Spirit—in our lives and in the world today.
Hosted by Rev. Jabe Ziino, Riverside Young Adults, and Dinner Church
