COVID-19 Testing Available at Riverside Through August 29
The Riverside Church is pleased to host community-based COVID-19 testing and health fair in collaboration with Dr. Karen Thornton, along with support from Medrite Urgent Care, Manhattan Borough President Gale A. Brewer, Assemblywoman Inez Dickens, and the NYC Department of Health Harlem Action Center. Testing is free and open to anyone, no appointment necessary. Participants are encouraged to bring their insurance information, however, insurance is NOT mandatory.
Testing is available from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through August 29 on:
Tuesdays: July 14, 21, 28; August 4, 11, 18, 25
Wednesdays: July 15, 22, 29; August 5, 12, 19, 26
Saturdays: July 11, 18, 25; August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
• COVID-19 antibody testing (blood test)
• COVID-19 nasal swab (PCR) testing
• COVID-19 contact tracing tool
• Information on COVID, social distancing, quarantine procedures, and FAQs
• Temperature, oxygen levels, heart rate, and blood pressure readings
• Referrals and references
• Gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer while supplies last
Location: The Riverside Church, Multipurpose Room entrance immediately north of Stone Gym, 81 Claremont Avenue (SE corner of 120th & Claremont)
Community partners will also be available to assist local residents in completion of US Census, non-partisan voter registration, and contact tracing job applications.
