Help Us Bring Humanitarian Aid to the People of Cuba

At this critical moment, the people of Cuba are facing severe shortages of medicine, fuel, and other essential supplies. Recent policies of the Trump administration have further restricted the island nation’s ability to import oil and other energy sources needed for daily life. As a result, many communities are experiencing frequent blackouts and growing difficulty accessing basic necessities.

The people of the United States cannot simply stand by and watch.

In response, Riversiders are joining a delegation of community and faith leaders from across the United States traveling to Cuba with IFCO Pastors for Peace. This delegation will deliver humanitarian aid directly to a pediatric hospital, a church, and a community center, while also engaging in meaningful social and educational exchanges with the Cuban people.

For more than 66 years, Cuba has endured the challenges of the U.S. economic blockade. Throughout that time, the Cuban people have shown remarkable resilience. Today, however, shortages of medicine, fuel, and essential supplies have intensified, creating an urgent humanitarian need.

We invite the Riverside community to join this effort.
