Be Still and Go is Riverside’s devotional podcast, with new episodes every day during Advent, Lent, and a few other times throughout the year. Each audio reflection is a 4-6 minute invitation to integrate your spirituality with social justice. Throughout this season of Advent every episode of Be Still and Go will be an invitation to make room. We are making room for hope, peace, joy, and love. We are making room for God’s spirit to blow her wind through our hair and propel us out into the world. We are making room for our implicit biases to be confronted, making room for repentance and reconciliation. And as we make room, create space, slow down, we learn that waiting isn’t just about willing some future moment into your present one, but it is about being present with each moment, each breath, knowing that we can find God and connect with the world around us in each one.
