June is Pride Month
The Riverside Church and our Maranatha LGBTQ ministry are once again pleased to invite you to participate in a variety of Pride Month activities. All are welcome.
Sunday, June 11: Pride Kickoff Potluck in the Park
2:00-4:00 p.m. in Sakura Park (rain location is Assembly Hall)
Please bring a dish to share – salad, fruit, veggies, main dish, dessert, or whatever else you munch! Beverages, frankfurters, and chips will be provided by Maranatha.
Wednesday, June 21: Space for Grace
7:00 p.m. in Assembly Hall with special guest preacher.
Saturday, June 24: Harlem PRIDE
Afternoon in West Harlem on 12th Avenue (between 135th and 138th Streets). Free admission. Look for the Maranatha table!
Sunday, June 25: Pride Sunday
Annual Pride Breakfast at 9:00 a.m. in Assembly Hall. $20 per person. Enjoy good food, music, great community, and awarding of the year’s scholar awards.
Worship Service at 10:45 a.m. in the Nave with guest preacher, Bishop Yvette Flunder.
After worship, join Maranatha and the Riverside community on our float at the Pride Parade down 5th Avenue! Marchers should meet at 37th St between 5th and 6th Avenues at 2:00pm.
